Our Safeguarding Commitment
Academic Achievers Academy recognises its duty of care to all learners and institutions we support. Safeguarding is embedded throughout our organisation and applies to:

All staff working through us are expected to uphold the highest standards of professional conduct and share responsibility for safeguarding at all times.
Safer Recruitment & Vetting
We operate robust safer recruitment procedures to ensure that only suitable individuals are placed into education settings.
All staff supplied by Academic Achievers Academy undergo:

Enhanced DBS checks, including barred list checks where appropriate

Verification of identity and right to work

A minimum of two professional references, including the most recent employer

Verification of qualifications and employment history

Checks for gaps in employment and suitability to work with children or vulnerable adults
No educator or support worker is deployed until all safeguarding checks have been fully completed and recorded.
Training & Professional Standards
All staff supplied by Academic Achievers Academy receive training appropriate to their role, including:

Staff are required to familiarise themselves with the safeguarding policies and procedures of the host institution and to act in accordance with those at all times.
Working in Partnership With Institutions
We work collaboratively with schools, colleges, and universities to ensure safeguarding responsibilities are clearly understood and consistently applied.
All staff supplied by us are required to:

Follow the safeguarding and child protection procedures of the host institution

Report safeguarding concerns immediately to the institution’s Designated Safeguarding Lead (DSL)

Escalate concerns internally to Academic Achievers Academy without delay

Maintain appropriate professional boundaries at all times

Reporting Concerns & Whistleblowing
Academic Achievers Academy operates clear reporting and escalation procedures.
Any safeguarding, conduct, or compliance concerns are taken seriously, investigated promptly, and escalated appropriately. We maintain a whistleblowing policy that allows concerns to be raised confidentially and without fear of reprisal.
